We’re looking for engineers to join the Typekit team. We have a fine-tuned development organization. We are agile as in fast. We value people that can look at a large problem and come back with a solution. We all do support; we all do QA. You are highly self-directed, and in return, we trust you to do your job.
You! ’re a backend engineer, with real-world experience in Ruby. You understand the full stack, regardless of where you’re most comfortable working. You test first. You solve problems. Most importantly, you’re consumed by making life better for Typekit’s users.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain internal and external services for Typekit, Creative Cloud and some of the biggest publishing platforms on the web
- Implement new functionality using Ruby and other tools as necessary (such as Sinatra, Resque, ElasticSearch, Redis, MySQL, AWS)
- Manage code from development through deployment, support, and maintenance
- Be an active participant in planning and designing product features
- Stay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team and community
