Enova Financial is currently searching for bright, energetic, and talented individuals to join our team; problem solvers and action-oriented thinkers are required. Candidates will be expected to hit the ground running learning the technologies, strategies, and analytical techniques that will enable them to contribute to the continued success of the company. Successful candidates will be highly motivated, analytical, and able to work effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 2-3 software engineers
- Drive software development of assigned projects
- Work closely with QA and DB engineers
- Design and implement solutions to problems
- Basic project planning for team (e.g. provide estimates, provide status updates to PM’s)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years as a software programmer
- 1+ years leading a team
- Experience in developing of web applications. From database schema to front end javascript.
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with Linux
- Distinguishing characteristics include: knowledge of Ruby or Ruby on Rails, and experience working in the financial services industry
