Senior Database Administrator/Architect

MobileIron is looking for a disciplined and highly motivated Senior Database Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for defining how/where MobileIron applications/services store/access/secure underlying data including optimization, reporting and data-warehousing initiatives. As a member of a growing operations team, you will be required to support the day-to day administration ! of the databases you build. This role also requires a self-starter who can hit the ground running with our engineering team by applying their previous experience. This role will report to our Technical Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Data/Database architecture/design
- Database architecture/capacity planning, scaling and administration
- Analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, ETL
- Clustering, replication, disaster recovery
- Monitoring, performance analysis, tuning/optimization
- Process documentation, data modeling, integration
- Provide database/programming support to Engineering, QA and Ops
- Implement and enforce data/database security
- Documentation of Environment
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
