We are looking for someone with 4+ years experience with Linux (CentOS) and VMware to direct, manage and monitor our entire server infrastructure. We are undergoing lot of recent growth, in both team size and client list, and this is a great opportunity for someone to be part of a challenging and pioneering company in the growing fashion technology space. Responsibilities:
- Direct ownership for server/site uptime for all products and servers
- Ensure proper monitoring, alerting, capacity planning and reporting in the production environments
- Direct ownership for scaling systems
- Supporting development and test environments for the team
- Working closely with the team to ensure the needs of the platform are defined and met
- Implementing best prac! tices (server configuration, security, etc)
- Create operational documentation and troubleshooting guidelines
- Take escalated calls within a department rotation under limited supervision.
