We're looking for a talented and entrepreneurial engineer to join our founding team and help us change the way groups connect and capture real world experiences together. At Waddle, we are creating a new way for friends to connect and privately capture memories together through expressive photo conversations. This is the foundation of our mobile led product that will be the first service to truly augment real world social experiences and foster genuinely personal interaction.
Your primary responsibilities will be on the backend and API levels of the stack. But as the 4th member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to touch all levels of the stack (backend, web and mobile app). So you should be excited by the prospect of playing a generalist role, learning new technologies, and tackling new challenges.
In addition to the technical requirements listed below, it is extremely important to us that the indivuduals we bring on are p! assionate about building a company where engineers love to work. As a founding team member you will have direct influence on not only the technology stack, but also the future of both the product and company culture.
