Primary Responsibilities
- Create a world-class, high-performance, extensible, user interface.
- Collaborate with the extended product team and contribute to fast-paced product development through all phases of the agile develop! ment life cycle.
- Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement; looking for ways to improve the process of developing and releasing quality software meeting customer needs.
- Design and write production-quality code to meet aggressive iteration goals.
- Research and remain current on new tools and technologies.
Required Skills/Education
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years experience developing in one or more OO languages, with a solid understanding of OO Design
- 1+ years experience developing in C#
- 1+ years experience with MVC web frameworks
- Proficient with JavaScript and jQuery
- Enjoy working in an agile development environment with aggressive release schedules
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Desi! red Skills
- 1+ years experi! ence with ASP.NET MVC3
- Familiarity with Backbone and Underscore
- Understanding of HTML5/CSS3
- Agile practices and methodologies
Interaction
This position operates in a team-oriented environment. As a result, the incumbent must build and maintain strong and effective working relationships internally with product development and client-facing teams.
Supervision
This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Development Manager, User Experience.
Working Conditions
- This position is located in downtown Portland.
- Travel requirements are minimal.
- Majority of time is spent working at a computer.
- Incumbent must pass a background check.
