Job opening - User Architect (UX/UI Design and Implementation) at Scanbuy, Inc (New York, NY)

Scanbuy is the leading global provider of mobile barcode solutions for the enterprise. Used in over 125 countries around the world every day, the ScanLife scanner app is the gateway for consumers to make more informed purchases and for companies to connect to consumers in their daily lives away from a computer. As Scanbuy’s user expert and advocate, you will be part of our tight-knit, collaborative team and help us ship killer product enhancements.  You will bring passion and expertise that covers all aspects of the user’s point of view regarding products. This position will give you the chance to work on graphical UI as well as User Experience aspects of product design and implementation. As the UI/UX Designer at Scanbuy, you will:



  • Be responsible for unifying and improving graphica! l design and user experience across our mobile, web, and ecommerce digital properties

  • Evaluate and coordinate the work of multiple design vendors in creating new products

  • Provide and evaluate designs for new features for all of our digital properties

  • Provide graphical wireframes, designs, and graphical resources to the Scrum teams for development

  • Develop UX experiments to optimize engagement and user acquisition

  • Ensure company branding standards are maintained


This position will drive product development by providing a great user experience balancing workflow and graphic design to support multilingual presentations across multiple properties and multiple applications. The applications combine cellphone apps for all of the major handset platforms, web apps for customers to manage codes and marketing campaigns, and a corporate and ecommerce web presence.
