Position Overview:

Software engineers at Shape Security solve complex and interesting problems as they develop brand new, next-generation technologies. As a software engineer, you have a broad set of skills and are ready to tackle complex security challenges in order to develop a highly defended, real-time, network intensive application.

! Requirements:

• 7+ years C, C++ or Java development experience
• 3+ years experience developing TCP/IP network intensive applications
• 3+ years developing performance critical applications
• Experience working in a startup environment
• BS/MS Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

One or more of the following experience:

• Knowledge of common Internet protocols including HTTP and DNS
• Compiler and/or interpreter development
• Scripting language (Python, Jython, etc.)
• Interface C/C++ with Java via JNI
• Common web app development technologies (JSP, ASP, PHP, Python based frameworks, etc)
• Web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Familiarity with high assurance software methodology and ! platform security assessment and certification standards (Comm! on Criteria, FIPS/NIST, etc)
