Software Development at MyBuilder:

We strive at all times to optimise efficiency and productivity. Nothing is as i! rritating as slow systems, poor unit testing facilities, or patching bad code instead of refactoring. We are committed to constant re-evaluation and improvement of the way we work.
We design our core libraries, data and model structures using appropriate design practices which enable the website to rapidly evolve with minimal complications or bugs. Our current technology stack, which is open to change if needed, is Symfony on PHP, Apache, PostgreSQL, Debian, Amazon S3, Backbone.js and jQuery.
As a developer in our Tech Team, you will spend around 80-90% of your time programming. Equally you will understand that maintenance — bug fixing, addressing technical debt, refactoring, increasing automated test coverage — are as important as writing new code. All Tech Team members contribute to the design and development of new software components.
