We are seeking indiviudals with a solid software development background to provide technology leadership and mentoring to a small team of software developers. The team supports a portfolio of applications and systems in a range of technologies including SQL Server, .Net, SSRS, SSIS, and Drupal. The individual in this role will take an active role in determining the technical solutions to upgrade and/or replace legacy applications as well as, developing new applications to support the business needs of the Multnomah County Health and Human Services and Public Safety departments. The Senior Software Developer is involved in the full software development life-cycle for moderate to complex software development projects. This position works directly with customers and other technical staff to resolve issues and provide technical assistance on the systems we support. In addition, the senior software developer is expected to stay current in the trends and changes in the IT ! industry. As the senior, this position is also responsible for participating in the Applications Architecture Committee and ensuring that development standards are applied in the Health and Human Services Application Services and Public Safety Teams. This position may be required to develop and maintain data warehouse environments, reporting, and custom or third party web-based systems.
