Forkly is looking for an experienced Frontend Web Developer to help build our web and mobile web apps. We're a funded startup in Denver, CO, working feverishly on taking the experience of dining out into the 21st century. You will be working on cutting edge projects on our small team and be directly responsible for all things HTML/CSS/JS. You will have direct input into the decisions that change the business and the way people share and discover the world of restaurants/food.
Responsibilities:
- Build exciting new experiences on Forkly's web and mobile websites
- Work closely with UX designers and backend developers
- Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Bring your ideas to the table to help shape the Forkly product
Requirements:
- Expert in HTML! /CSS/Javascript/AJAX
- Experience building standards-compliant, functional web experiences
- Comfortable with agile techniques like user stories and pair programming
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with HTML5
- Experience with jQuery
- Experience with Git/GitHub
Bonus Points:
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience building mobile websites for a wide range of mobile platforms
- Experience with backbone.js
- Experience with Adobe Fireworks
- Prior startup experience
- Active Twitter user / blogger
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
