The Web Developer is responsible for constructing online sites and applications as architected by the Senior Developer. In this role the Web Developer will help to share knowledge of best practices and implementation strategies with other members of the team. The candidate must be able to work well with other internal colleagues in addition managing their own time. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for design and an understanding of how to translate this to presentational markup.
The development team is a relaxed group of individuals who are enthusiastic and upbeat. The working atmosphere is comfortable and refreshing in comparison to other agencies. We work hard but you do get to leave when the sun is still out. Though we are dedicated to project deadlines, we also focus on skill development for our entire team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Serving as a web developer.
· Developing websites and applications through the use of modern technologies.
· Coding, testing, and deployment of a variety of complex technical solutions.
· Assisting junior level developers in developing their skill sets.
· Consistently demonstrating a strong desire to advance online development knowledge by assuming more responsibilities for resolving complex problems.
· Adhering to coding standards defined by the roadmap and trending technology.
· Meeting deadlines and personal work plans.
Desired Skills & Experience:
· 2+ years of relevant web/software development experience.
· BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
· Strong emphasis on front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JS, JQuery, JSON and XML.
· JS knowledge beyond utilizing publicly available frameworks is a plus.
· Expert Proficiency with PHP.
· Proficient with GIT.
· Knowledge of PHP frameworks, preferably CodeIgniter (or at least one other rapid prototyping/development framework, e.x. RoR).
· Knowledge of critical concepts and technologies including: Drupal, Wordpress, Cloud Computing, Online Analytics.
· Ability to listen and accept input from team members and managers.
· Ability to articulate ideas and thoughts verbally and in writing.
