Principal Engineer At Shopply, we’re trying to make every online shopper a winner, and to do that, we are building some complex services. As we move from stealth mode towards our alpha release, we’re looking a Principal Engineer to help take Shopply to the next level. - Design – You’ll be leading the design of core parts of our offering. You will need to be comfortable designing data models, service layers, front-end investments, and have some exposure to designing and implementing natural language constructs and algorithms.
- Develop – As a Shopply engineer, you’ll be required to write code 90% of the time. You must be able to write clean, maintainable code. You’re design must be patte! rn-oriented, embody the spirit of the languages and tools we select, and be defensible through the code review process.
- Experiment – As a startup, we don’t do command and control development. We focus on a place on the mountain and then aggressively climb. This role requires a highly autonomous engineer who isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of the craft, and has the innate ingenuity to think well outside the box to get the job done, and to do it in a way that differentiates us.
- Lead – We’re a small team of experienced professionals from various disciplines. We’re looking for someone who is looking to lead, not only technically, but also contribute to the business through ideas, research, vision, and passion. This role would be ideal for a seasoned engineer who is ready to move into the cockpit and put some of their own ideas into action.
