You’ll be part of our in-house development team and be responsible for developing and maintaining the systems that are used in our offices around the world. We work on a J2EE stack with Oracle, JBoss, Struts, Spring and JSP technologies to name a few. JQuery and HTML knowledge is also highly desirable. We use SVN for source control and Jenkins to run continuous builds. We automatically deploy to a local development server daily so that our dedicated QA team can test ! what we build the following day. We use JIRA to monitor our progress but we rely more on our Kanban boards for daily information.
Experience working within an agile environment is preferred. You should have hands-on commercial experience of delivering high quality solutions in a team environment. We are looking for a mid to senior level developer and you will be expected to write code in the interview that reflects your in-depth knowledge of both Java and frameworks.
More than this, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator, with both technical and non-technical staff, and a whole-hearted team player. A fast learner, you’re not afraid to contribute fresh ideas, challenge the norm and champion positive change. An upbeat attitude and strong sense of humour will also serve you well.
