We are seeking a talented developer to join Two Sigma’s Knowledge Management team. In this role, you will build features for next-generation software and identify processes that will drive collaboration and productivity. You will also gather requirements and optimize tools to capture important methods, workflows, and processes that play a major role in determining strategic initiatives for the Firm. Working with managers, other developers, and non-technical staff, you will educate end-users on how to properly leverage Knowledge Management applications and features.
Successful candidates will have a strong academic record with a BS in computer science or another highly technical, scientific discipline. Solid experience with Java, Windows Servers, Unix, and Linux is required. In addition to a demonstrable aptitude for automating processes, candidates should have abilities in multiple scripting languages such as Pyt! hon, PHP, Perl, and Shell. Experience developing content management systems or social media platforms is also a plus. Candidates should possess strong people skills to elicit and distill technology needs from highly technical staff and novice users alike.
