What you need for this position:

• 3 + years of hands-on server-side Java development or equivalent


• Strong base in computer science / software engineering. Strong general programming and problem solving skills (language independent)


• Strong server side development skills for optimal client/server including strong knowledge of threading, concurrency, scaling, and high availability.


• Experience of working with some of the following -- SaaS, virtualization, system operations, application delivery or hosting, database architecture, and network engineering


• A relevant B.Sc./B.A. degree.

It would be a big plus if you also have:

• A love of runtime-type languages like Ruby, JavaScript, or Smalltalk.


• Experience and understanding working with cloud computing! technologies, enterprise & open source technologies, devo! ps, PaaS/IaaS, and/or AWS CloudWatch.


• Experience on a team producing a platform such as AWS, Azure, .Net, Force.com, Eclipse, Facebook platform . . .
