Class Summary:     
Responsible for analysis, acquisition, installation, modification and support of operating systems, databases, utilities and software tools.

Minimum Education/Training/Experience:     
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, or an Associate Degree in other related technical fields.  

Minimum Knowledge & Skills:     
Two (2) years of professional technology experience including some network and systems administration.

Knowledge:
-Applicable computer programs, equipment and systems.
-System analysis principles.
-Information technology principles.
-Database management principles.
-End-user technical training principles and procedures.
-Using Computers Skills: and software application programs.
-Developing, designing and implementing end-user technical training.
-Providing direction for systems configuration.
-Troubleshooting technological problems.
-Prioritizing work and performing multiple tasks.
-Evaluating new products and technologies.
-Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to! interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, e! tc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Skills:
-Using computers and software application programs.
-Developing, designing and implementing end-user technical training.
-Providing direction for systems configuration.
-Troubleshooting technological problems.
-Prioritizing work and performing multiple tasks.

Preferred Education/Training/Experience:     
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a Bachelor's Degree in other related technical fields.  

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:     
Four (4) years of professional technology experience including some network and systems administration experience.

Physical Requirements:     
Positions in this class typically require: fingering, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Minimum Salary Range:

Mid Point Salary Range:
