We are looking for kick-ass front end development engineers to join our rapidly growing Applications team, responsible for all of the client-facing components at Turn. You should be motivated by bui! lding high performance, web-based, enterprise applications that are used to manage hundreds of millions of dollars in digital marketing spend around the globe.

The Applications team spends many hours working closely with the Product Management and User Experience teams to help design our products. Our work process is a nice blend of agile and design-oriented development which puts the customer experience first and foremost.

In terms of our technology stack, we run a Java backend utilizing Spring 3 and Hibernate and are looking for frontend engineers to develop on top of and extend our existing framework which utilizes Closure Library, jQuery, RequireJS, and LESS.

Here are some things we are looking for:

  • Fluent in Javascript, CSS, and HTML
  • Familiarity with the DOM and ECMAScript 5
  • Experience building large Javascript applications
  • Keen sense of information architecture and visual design
  • Familiarity ! with the MVC pattern and dependency injection
  • Motiv! ated by writing fast, scalable code with testability in mind
  • Familiarity with Java, C#, or other object-oriented language
  • Excited by working in a fast-paced environment
  • 2 or more years of experience in a production-quality web development role
  • Degree in Computer Science a must have
