Our data engineers are the backbone of this information-gathering mission. Their software collects, parses and cleans terabytes of data used for research and real-time automated decision-making.
Candidates should be highly detail-oriented, have strong programming skills and be keenly interested in building and maintaining large-scale, error-free data sets. No prior financial knowledge or experience is required. We make extensive use of proprietary in-house filesystems, databases and data flow control systems built in Java, C++, Perl and Awk, with new languages and technologies continuously being evaluated. Our developers all have bachelor's degrees in computer science from top universities.
