We're looking for a strong Ruby on Rails developer to help us build our next generation platform from scratch. If you've been building Rails apps for at least 3+ years and want to start with a clean white board and build one the way you've always wanted to, now is your opportunity.
We would like to work with people who can:
- Adopt and promote Free/Open Source Software and Open Standards solutions.
- Design and develop internal and external websites, including user interface and interactive features.
- Develop apps for mobile devices, including iOS and Android.
- Contribute to software architecture and production implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations for new/emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with internal customers and external clients to identify business requirements, opportunities for improved functionality, and user satisfaction.
CSD is the nation's largest non-profit organization providing comprehensive services to the deaf and hard of hearing community. We are starting an exciting new technology push for emerging web capabilities to provide solutions to people with hearing loss and those who interact or service people with hearing loss. We are putting together a new team for these efforts, and we need you to help lead them.
