Platform Description:

Muselize is a discovery platform that aims to solve some of the core problems faced by the players of the live Indian music industry.  For the users/fans it provides an interface that makes discovery of music, event and artists intuitive and relevant by displaying them in conjunction with each other. The musicians/bands gain an opportunity to promote their music and actually drive traffic to their events, which is their primary revenue stream. In the next phases, we aim to solve problems faced by the venues, event organizers and record labels.

Our target market is the indie musicians and bands that are outside Bollywood. In phase 1, we are focusing on electronic, metal and rock genres in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune.

We are currently developing the platform and require a hacker with the following skills

- Passionate about being in start-up 

- Strong desire and aptitude for learning 

- Good understands of Object Oriented Programming 

- Good understanding of restful architecture

- Previous experience with MVC frameworks

- Strong J-Query Experience 

- Understand the concept of 'thin controllers, fat models'

- Previous experience with PHP 5.3 frameworks (PLUS) - especially Laravel   (Double Plus)
