The Defence Signals Directorate (DSD) is seeking technologically-minded people to work as software developers, testers and integrators.


As a developer you will use programming languages such as Java, PHP and Python to create and maintain software. You may be involved in projects involving emerging web technologies, distributed computing, Eclipse RCP or other enterprise applications.


As a tester you will perform usability and/or exploratory testing on the software created by developers. You will be an integral part of the development process and will contribute to the robustness! and quality of software deliverables.


As an integrator you will work with bringing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software into our high security environment. This may involve scripting to ensure connectivity of data feeds and existing systems.


All roles involve working in agile teams comprised of developers, integrators, testers and business analysts. Our teams operate using agile best practices including an iterative delivery model and working from a customer-driven requirements backlog.


Successful candidates may be offered a position at the APS 3, 4, 5 or 6 Level, depending on experience and skills demonstrated in your application and interview.


Part time and job sharing arrangements are also available.
