Job opening - Social TV/Mobile Gaming Company seeking Dev/Ops Linux System Engineers at Function(x) (San Francisco, CA)

We've built the Viggle iOS app already but we need your expertise in building and supporting our infrastructure for other white-label gaming platforms. This west coast team in Los Angeles and San Francisco helped build one of the most popular apps in Australia too called Fango, a social TV app that we partnered with Yahoo to create.


As a member of our technical operations team, you’ll help build and mai! ntain Function(x)’s growing infrastructure that supports Viggle's mobile and web-based business. Both colo- and cloud-based, our infrastructure spans



  • mobile application supporting infrastructure

  • consumer, internal and partner web

  • real-time content ingestion and processing

  • data warehousing and analytics

  • geo-distributed services infrastructure

  • and more


We’re building a great infrastructure to support a great idea – we’re not afraid to choose the best technology for the job. We use open source and want our engineers to contribute back to the projects we use. Our development processes are agile and transparent.


The day-to-day



  • Deployment, configuration, administration, and maintenance of our production infrastructure such as servers, networks, storage systems, etc.

  • On-cal! l - 24x7 (at times)
