Seeking a (primarily) python developer. Telecommuting is a possibility. We have offices in Amsterdam, Bucharest, and Dubai, so either in house from one of these locations or remote. European/Russian time zone preferred.
Our websites are fairly large and therefore demanding and challenging. We have about 5mil uniques per day with lots of write queries, etc.. so our tech team has to handle somewhat complicated load balancing, caching, db access and things like that
We're hiring someone who is smart and adaptive, able to learn new technologies and implement things fast -- basically a good all-rounder who can help get things done
You'll be working on a django based web app with ffmpeg for video encoding, rabbitmq/wowza for live video chat, jabber for on-site messaging, and solr for search.. you will be doing interesting things like coming up with recommender algorithms that suit our user base and make them buy more t! hings, fraud/risk management algos for e-commerce, etc..
Salary is regionally competitive.. depending if you are in-house or remote..
