Job Title: Enterprise Data Warehouse Research Analyst
Location: Downtown Chicago
Job Summary: The Research Analyst/Report Writer is responsible for providing data consumers with data from an integrated cross-campus medical database. The data analyst will work with physicians, researchers, and other data consumers to define requirements, formul! ate queries, validate results, manage the approval process, and generate reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. The data analyst will also interface with data architects and application developers to define requirements for new data structures and web applications to aid in reporting. This position plays a key role in realizing the return on investment of the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop queries, quality metrics, and reporting tools for the Northwestern Medicine campus (FSM, NMH, NMFF)
- Develop standard reporting templates, policies, and procedures
- Manage report deployment and delivery to customers
- Documentation, good software practice management, and mentoring
