We're a Linux shop who opts for open source applications (CentOS, Tomcat, Hadoop, Cassandra, MySQL, memcached, MogileFS, Chef) when possible and, as such, we are looking for a highly capable systems administrator that is eager to work with best of breed technologies, cutting edge distributed systems and the hottest hardware to join our operations team and help us tackle scaling out our service and infrastructure.
As a Operations Engineer at Outbrain you will work inside our operations team but will have a continuous and tight connection with the development team, working shoulder to shoulder (although, an ocean between you) to resolve issues and build systems that drive high volumes of internet traffic. High ability to learn things by yourself and creativity in developing solutions is highly appreciated.
