Job opening - Front-End Engineer at SportStream (San Francisco, CA)

SportStream is a San Francisco based start-up backed by Paul Allen's Vulcan Capital - yes, the Microsoft co-founder and owner of the Seahawks, Blazers and Seattle Sounders. We're building the ultimate social sports experience for fans - and we're looking for an experienced front end engineer who wants to take their game to the next level.

As a member of this all-star team, you will contribute your own unique talents to help deliver a world-class experience to hard-core sports fans. Specifically you will be responsible for collaborating with the team to deliver a world-class iOS/HTML5/Javascript experience. If you want to build the ultimate combination of sports tweets Facebook posts, play-by-play, scoring alerts and much, much more - we want to hear from you.

We're a small team that moves fast. Meetings are brief, we run Agile, and we don't care about titles -- it's all about shipping great stuff fast. Then making it even better.

Required:
Objectiv! e-C, JavaScript, HTML5 expert
Passion for user experience: You want to give input on design as well as coding
Ability to create elegant solutions in tough spots -- and share ideas with teammates to help them get there as well
Shipped at least 3-4 amazing iPhone or iPad apps
Built apps that talk to the cloud: web service mashups, S3, CloudFront
Built hybrid apps (iOS+Javascript: PhoneGap, etc)
You MUST love sports!

Extra Points:
Experience with server-side Javascript (Node.js)
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science preferred but not required

Our offices are located in the heart of San Francisco -- it's an easy walk from BART, ferry or Muni, and a nice walk to AT&T Park for the occasional game.
