liveBooks is looking to hire an exceptional hands-on Director of Network Operations who can also lead a small, distributed team of system administrators.
The successful candidate will be someone who has previous experience taking the lead on running an environment that runs a complex online platform or application. Ideally this individual will have demonstrated experience in having improved and expanded the environment while maintaining excellent uptime.
While partly a management role, this is still very much a hands-on role and will require making occasional solo and team trips to our data center in the South Bay. The successful candidate must be able to lift at least 40 lb. and be comfortable racking servers, cabling devices, and generally maintaining a colocated environment.
