POSITION SUMMARY:
Work independently and as part of a team that builds and integrates web applications and services for First Investors. Develop, test, enhance and modify web applications as necessary to ensure the best experience for the user.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with various business units to gather and analyze project requirements
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications
- Ensure the continuous operational status of our web infrastructure by monitoring and responding to system error messages and failures
- Handle escalated support tickets from internal and external customers regarding all web application requests (e.g., content updates, trouble accessing account information, customer log-on issues, inability to download electronic documents, etc.)
- Various system administration ! duties, including installing, upgrading and configuring web server software utilizing PHP and Apache
