As Formspring's VP of Engineering, you'll provide technical leadership to build, manage, and scale the company. You’ll own all initiatives to scale technology; review, establish, and execute an engineering road map; institute best engineering practices; and deliver solid products.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
- Overseeing development and operations at Formspring (development, deployment, optimizations, maintenance, and scale)
- Growing, managing, and coaching a team of developers and systems engineers
- Partner with the product team to improve development and product speed by helping manage the Scrum process, estimate workflow and dependencies, and provide guidance with resourcing
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team, encourage best practices, improve infrastructure and architecture, and provide solid leadership to set team goals for per! formance and technical excellence
