At least 5 years experience with Linux system administration. Especially Debian/Ubuntu
Strong experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, Splunk, etc.
Strong experience with scripting languages like shell, Perl, Python
Experience supporting enterprise JBoss/Java environments
Experience with configuration and administration of VMWare environment
Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Puppet or Chef
Experience managing production network infrastructure including
o Managed switches, VLANs, routing
o Load balancer appliances, F5 or NetScaler
o Firewall management including NAT, routing, permissions, VPN
Experience with configuration and administration of OpenVPN
Experience supporting a highly available, high transaction rate application environment
Familiarity with support and administration of PostgreSQL or similar open source database
Familiarity with su! pport and administration of nosql database solutions like Cassandra
Familiarity with support and administration of hadoop cluster
Candidate should be a hard working, highly motivated, team player. Required to be available for after hours infrastructure support as needed.
