We are an international bioinformatics organization looking for a software development project manager. The person who fills this staff position will work with a team of computer scientists and biologists to design, develop, and maintain the biological model organism database for zebrafish.
Phone interviews will begin March 2nd. Position open until filled.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise technical staff (9 direct reports) on-site.
Manage multiple teams and project plans.
Ensure adequate support for existing and future infrastructure.
Work with staff to establish software project development standards.
Facilitate communication within and between teams and help team members to resolve technical and non-technical problems.
Interface with international zebrafish community.
Meet regularly with stakeholders to co-ordinate planning efforts and review progress.
