Grooveshark’s Gainesville operation is seeking a talented PHP Developer.  The PHP Developer will work directly under the supervision of the Head of Web to focus on new and existing features for the Grooveshark web application. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain existing PHP code and API.


• Create new features and improve upon existing ones.


• Improve on the speed, cleanliness, and security of existing code.


• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks


• Write and optimize queries for high concurrency workloads (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
