¨ Designs, architects and develops web-based solutions of moderate complexity and scope.
¨ Performs functions necessary to maintain the ecommerce web site(s) as well as the databases, services, and processes that interface with or support them.
¨ Develops unit test plans for all development projects.
¨ Documents programs based on department standards.
¨ Tests and debugs programs, consults with users in the development of test data, tests programs using test data and appropriate files, and reviews results with users.
¨ Performs quality assurance testing for programs developed by other team members as assigned by management.
¨ Prepares specifi! cations, cost estimates and time schedules based on analysis for assigned projects.
¨ Performs program maintenance and problem resolution on assigned systems/programs outside of normal working hours when required to support the production environment.
¨ Attends training courses as recommended by Managers.
¨ Works with the hosting facility and the IT staff to develop equipment justifications and facilitate the installation.
¨ May occasionally work with outside IT resources. These can include sister company IT departments, contractors/consultants, or vendors/suppliers.
¨ Notifies management whenever a production-impacting incident occurs.
¨ Works independently on assigned projects,! providing regular updates to management on production issues ! or project status based on mutually determined schedule.
¨ Partners with overseas (in China) development team, documenting requirements and validating results.
