Mindspark is seeking a Manager of Systems Administration for its' White Plains, NY location. Leading the System Services team, candidate will play a pivotal role as they build and configure new systems, maintain and manage existing ones, monitor the production environment, and troubleshoot complex problems within our production and internal infrastructure. They will work closely with other operations team members, the database administration team, the network team as well as site engineering and production to ensure the 24x7 environments stay online. Candidates must be proactive in identifying and solving platform related tasks and sharing their efforts in a team-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Performance, tuning and capacity planning for
- Physical and virtual servers
- SAN and NAS environments
OS updates, patches and configuration change! s
System management through scripting, automation and policies
Support and plan system backups and data recovery strategies
SAN and NAS administration
Basic network administration
On-call rotation for after hours support and scheduled maintenances
