Help maintain, build and extend the Google of the Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) Market. Empirasign is a fast growing company. In a few short years, we have won customers in the following market segments: Banks, Broker/Dealers, Hedge Funds, and Evaluated Pricing Companies. We recently closed our first international deal in Eurozone.
We acquire reams of unstructured data and transform it into forms usable by Traders, Salespeople, Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, and Price Evaluators.
On a more specific level, Software Engineers will be responsible for coding and managing both front end and back end software solutions. The lions's share of both these realms are coded in Python and JavaScript.
Most of the back-end coding involves transforming unstructured into structured data. We use various techniques from template fitting to hidden Markov chains. On the front end, it's important to get our data to our users as quickly ! and cleanly as possible. We have web front end as well as a RESTful API. All of these solutions must be more made more robust and extended to international markets.
