FreightCenter.com is seeking a Web Development Manager to drive forward all Web Development initiatives. FreightCenter was named on of the areas Top Companies to Work For in 2011 and is quickly growing. The Web Development Manager position will both develop software and lead the team with a primary focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality experiences for our users. This position will also serve as Lead Architect for all our web products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop code and deliver to specifications set forth by the internal and external stakeholders achieved through a collaborative process
- Manage development and production environments (application and database)
- Track and manage source code
- Review and test code
- Apply bug fixes
- Make decisions on processes, coding practices and methodologies
- Provide accurate estimates on milestones and target release dates
- Collaborate with other members of the team as ! and when needed
