We are currently looking for a junior/intermediate level systems administrator to join the Impact Mobile team on a full-time basis. As a member of a small, focused operations team, you will be responsible for the day to day operations (trouble tickets, monitoring, maintenance) of the department as well as have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical skills by taking ownership of, and assisting with, the planning, configuration and deployment of various IT infrastructure components.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- RCA, resolution and logging of issues submitted by clients and corporate users.
- Notify clients and corporate users of service interruptions and planned maintenance.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all IT systems, networks, applications and assets.
- Benchmark, analyze, report, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth o! f the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
- Manage security aspects of the IT Department, including audits, vulnerability tests, compliance data gathering, and other security related tasks as appropriate.
- Maintenance of various IT systems, i.e. researching and deploying patches/updates, log analysis and archiving, upgrades etc.
- Act as technical lead for client provisioning and systems integrations.
- Research and source equipment, and make recommendations regarding corporate IT purchases.
- Perform, automate and monitor system backups.
- Document system/service configuration and procedures.
- After hours on call and support
