Job opening - Lead Android Developer at Foster (New York, NY; Fort Lauderdale, FL; San Francisco, CA)

This posting is for a job as the lead iOS developer at Foster. Foster is a mobile app in the really hot location-based social networking space. We're currently in private beta that is going to be released to the general public in the coming weeks.


As the lead developer, you will get to work with an intimate team as we iterate and scale the product. You will carry a lot of responsibility and will have the freedom to impart your own creativity on the product. Foster is early-stage, meaning your input and work will hold a lot of weight as it moves forward; your efforts will be seen.


We have an outstanding revenue model that you will help put into place that will take the company to becoming a major player in this space. Think Adwords meets Foursquare meets GrouponNow.

Responsibilities:


Executes complete life cycle for complex application components based on functional requirements; considers device capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.


Prepares detailed specs from which programs will be written; designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, & maintains those programs.


Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties; assists in development and documentation of user manuals.


Analyzes functional design/overall application technical design and develops detailed module technical secifications for moderately complex to complex components.


Codes moderately complex application components based on design specs, while adhering to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques, and development methodologies.
