Vector Media Group is looking for a full-time web developer in the New York City area to join our team of 10 immediately. We’re a well-respected interactive agency with amazing clients (like The Economist, Nielsen, BabyBjorn, and Woot.com) and an incredible roadmap.
Our development projects are built on PHP (the LAMP stack) and are often ExpressionEngine- or CodeIgniter-based. Experience with ExpressionEngine and/or CodeIgniter is a plus, but experience with CMSes like Drupal and Wordpress or frameworks like CakePHP, Kohana, Laravel, and Zend would also be helpful. If you’re the right fit, we’ll teach you what you don’t know.
A week in this role will require many skills: on Monday you might be turning PSDs into HTML, while on Tuesday you might be setting up templates and fields in a project’s CMS.
Our office is in the Union Square area of Manhattan. You’d be working in our office 5 days a week but we&! rsquo;re flexible with hours. The important thing is getting your work done and having some fun.
