We are a start-up that makes innovative technology for restaurants. Our main product is Uncorkd, an iOS and web SaaS platform that enables restaurants to create and manage their own electronic wine and beverage menus. We are looking for a VP of Engineering/Lead Developer to lead software development for our company.
The position will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for managing all aspects of technology and development for the company, including front and back-end web development, mobile development, product management, and much more. As a small start-up, this person will need to build a tech team with the right expertise to help grow the company, but will also be directly responsible for coding themselves, at least in the near to mid term.
This position will be working on some interesting and challenging tech problems around managing and integrating big data, search performance, analytics, and other really cool! things we have on our roadmap. Responsibilities
- Oversee all programming efforts for web and mobile. This includes coding yourself, on platforms in which you have expertise.
- Participate as a member of the senior management team. Identify resource and technology needs for the company.
- Build and manage web and mobile infrastructure, ensuring product performance, scalability, and overseeing all aspects of UI/UX.
