You’re an experienced Sr. Unix Systems Administrator for SaaS environments, and have a proven background in a variety of technologies and products. As a Unix Systems Administrator at Elance, you will play a major role in maintaining and improving upon our technical foundation. Here’s what you need to know:
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the installation, trou! bleshooting and maintenance of entire systems and network infrastructure
- Maintain server and network uptime consistent with corporate goals and metrics
- A high level of proficiency with deployment, configuration, management, troubleshooting and tuning of Linux, Apache, and other Open Source SW for high volume SaaS websites
- Provide 24x7 support for production infrastructure
- This position will require some after hours and weekend support
