As a successful Columbus-based SaaS model software company, we are looking for an experienced senior software engineer that has first-hand experience designing and developing complex, commercial software, that has expertise in C# .Net, Web Forms and SQL Server development with strong, first hand, skills in application design and architecture. You should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. You will be a senior member of the team so you will require experience guiding and mentoring the work of less experienced team members.
You must have good written and verbal communications skills as well as a proven record of picking up new technical and business concepts quickly. You should have an interest in, and knowledge of, current and developing trends and technologies in enterprise solution architectures and data management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help design/architect, develop, imp! lement, test and support applications based on requirements provided by business analysts.
- Produce high quality, well documented, and testable code.
- Fully test their code and review the code of other engineers.
- Function well as an individual contributor and as a team member.
- Apply coding practices as outlined by the irth Solutions development department.
- Acquire and maintain current industry knowledge of development practices in the software industry.
- Participate in regular updates and code and design review discussions to ensure production of systems that conform to both functional and technical design specifications.
- Guide and mentor the work of less experienced team members.
- Other duties may be assigned.
