By joining our innovative technology team as a Regional Data Center Systems Administrator, you will be part of a team charged with providing critical support and management of data center technologies across multiple sites in the New York metro area, focusing on rapid response to technical issues within our active trading environment. While performing in this role, you will be exposed to a broad range of technologies including networking, telecommunications, server hardware and software as well as various tools used to manage the environments, plan for change and develop solutions. At the front line of business technology support, your role is one that is highly engaged and hands-on from the point that equipment is provisioned through its installation, configuration and overall maintenance and support. As a result, you will have numerous opportunities to leverage both your strong project management and technical troubleshooting skills as you collaborate with other technol! ogy teams, business units, and external vendors in support of evolving business initiatives.
This position is based in Secaucus, New Jersey and requires extensive local travel between our data centers/collocation facilities that are located between Central New Jersey, North New Jersey and Manhattan. Since support within these facilities generally occurs only after trading hours (4:30PM EST), a flexible schedule will be required. Additional off-hours support will also be required as needed.
