IXI’s development staff adheres to one overriding principle: Above all else, the most important consideration is to help deliver value to IXI’s clients in the form of solutions to their business problems. All other duties are in support of this goal.
We accomplish this goal by hiring and developing the best talent possible. We don’t hire talent based on specific technology experience; instead we base our hiring decisions on demonstrated ability and drive. Our criteria for selection is very simple, we are looking for someone who knows what they are doing, and isn’t afraid of constantly learning new technologies.
We do not hire based on specific buzzwords, technologies or acronyms. Today we happen to use WCF, C#, .Net 3.5, Java, some NoSQL, CSS and JavaScript to build IXI’s web services and web applications, but as soon as a technology offers a competitive advantage – we will look at it. Whatever technologies! or programming languages you’ve used, we expect that you have mastered them. We also expect that you will be able to master any technology or programming language that we need in the future.
The Principal Engineer position will report to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Customer Decision Support Solutions group. The Customer Decision Support Solutions Group is responsible for developing stand-alone intranet and internet applications that drive the entire IXI Services solution space.
