Behance’s passionate, rapidly growing development team seeks a talented Big Data Engineer. Behance maintains high traffic, high visibility applications with immense amounts of data, numerous third party integrations, and challenging scaling problems.
To fulfill our goal of becoming the center of the creative world, our team has built huge databases of the best creative work. To get there, we need people who can work with big data and build scalable systems that answer tough questions.
Day to day tasks, tasks would center around improving existing datastores and building new ones. As a rapidly growing company, we need someone who can keep up with our data size and create solutions to keeping our applications performant. Additionally, our search index needs to be continually improved to include more facets. Lastly, we need to continue to research alternative datastores that will fit the needs of our applications.
