We are currently seeking mid-level to senior-level Java Software Developers (e.g Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer) to help with the development of Seurat, Schrödinger’s Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Decision Support System (DSS) used by companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries to support drug discovery and development.
We are looking for Java generalists who can help in three targeted areas:
- Instrumenting our application to expose its object model and functionality via web services. (Knowledge of Apache CXF, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, WS-*, RESTful design and JSON is a plus.)
- Improving scalability in processing, memory utilization and data transmission by use of local and distributed caching strategies, embedded databases, and other strategies. (Knowledge of EHCACHE, memcached, embedded databases, dynamic proxying (e.g. CGLIB), and profiling a plus.)
-! Development of new client features and UI enhancements through the use of advanced Swing/JFC programming and JIDE Software's UI Component libraries.
