Dow AgroSciences (DAS) is hiring a client software developer to build and/or extend software to support scientific data collection, analysis, and decision making.The client developer will support research and workflows in a variety of settings, including the laboratory, greenhouse and field.The position is located in Portland, Oregon.
The client software developer will be focused on design, development, and implementation of Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and mobile solutions that support scientific research at DAS. The client developer will work on a team of developers, analysts, and support staff practicing iterative software development methods. The successful candidate will have experience with user interface design patterns and thinking critically about how to deliver the application requirements while balancing user interface design and user experience needs. The successful candidate will enjoy interacting closely with resear! ch scientists and have the following qualifications, skills and experience.
