AWS platform is building a brand new foundational service that will help customers organize, manage and control resources across the entire AWS enterprise. Our mission is to offer a global view of resources that can be dynamically grouped along dimensions that are critical to customer’s business and enable cost attribution, policy enforcement and enterprise wide actions.

If you are someone with a strong technical background who is also passionate about delighting customers, this is the team for you.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Proficiency with object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving! skills
• Proficiency with one of the modern programming languages like Java or C++

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science
• Familiarity with SDLC best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Familiarity with hierarchical (taxonomies) and non-hierarchical (tagging) metadata systems
• Experience with enterprise directory protocols and implementations
• Experience with systems management technologies such as System Center, Tivoli and OpenView
• Experience with AWS services like EC2, DynamoDB, EBS, SWF etc
• Experience in the following technologies: Perforce, Subversion, make, ant, XML, Apache, Tomcat, RDBMS, No-SQL, Web Services
