Dynamic, Chicago-area graphic design firm, looking for a highly talented web developer to take the lead in building out our digital solutions and web development capabilities.
For 40 years we have provided high-end creative design for local, national and Fortune 500 clients. We value forward-thinking, ingenuity and creativity in our design and are looking for the same qualities in a developer. You will have the opportunity to help us build upon on our established track record of trust and quality while providing an array of cutting-edge technology solutions to our clients.
You will be responsible for working with our design team to plan and implement front-end and back-end web and application solutions from concept to launch. You will also coordinate and carry out maintenance and upgrading of developed sites. Most importantly, you will be relied upon to help chart! the course for future programing, coding and development services within our company.

Experience:
- Bachelors degree in in computer science or related field
- 2-3 years experience a plus
Technology Qualifications:
- Fluency across industry standard languages including HTML5/CSS, PHP, ASP, .NET, ColdFusion, Perl, C++, Obj. C
- Competency/familiarity with CMS ! systems, including common open-source solutions (WordPress, Dr! upal, Joomla)
- JavaScript, jQuery
- Mobile web and native application development (iOS/Android mobile and tablet devices, etc.)
- Social Media integration and application development
- HTML e-mail campaign management
- Familiarity with wide range of server environments/architectures
- Proficiency with building/altering/maintaining relational databases, MySQL
Additional Skills:
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Adept at creating accurate timelines and effective action plans for development
- Proficiency in developing wireframe concepts
- Ability to communicate/coordinate effectively with client technology departments that have diverse standards and security protocols
- Coordinate with other internal or external developers
- Experience in establishing comprehensive testing and debugging procedures
- Desire to assist i! n creating a strong and capable programming and development capacity within our company
